Public information that takes an afternoon to find isn't really public. Agendas, budgets, contracts, permits, and response data are already collected — the gap is presentation, searchability, and timing.
Where I stand
This is the one place my background is directly, practically useful. Making public records searchable and readable is a solved engineering problem. It mostly requires deciding it matters.

- Summaries published before decisions, not after
- Open, machine-readable formats for city data
- Track and publish what happened after each major vote
